Members of the National September Celebrations Committee, whereas the following persons have labored diligently on behalf of the improvement and the benefit of the country of Belize and its people and whereas they have contributed their time and energy and intelligence often at great sacrifice to themselves and to making Belize a better place for all our people, now therefore by the power vested in me and the Governor General and acting on the advice of the Prime Minister, Honorable John Briceño and on behalf of a grateful nation, I proclaim the national awards vested upon twenty two individuals, given on this eighteenth day of September 2022 in the year of independence of Belize her Excellency Froyla Tzalam, Governor General of Belize, God Save Belize.”
