National M.S.M.E. Road Show Host Pop-up Shop in Belize City

The National M.S.M.E. Road Show ended its three-day stop in Belize City today. A pop-up shop was held on the ITVET Compound where several small businesses had their products on display. The commodities varied from jewellery, to food and drinks and everything in between. Here is a brief look at today’s event.

“This is all part of what is important for MSME’s as a whole. So, day one was about the trainings we know that they need. That included sensitizing them about the different incentives that the government offer. Day two which was yesterday was the formalization clinic. The formalization clinic, what happened was that we have different government agencies like Social Security. We had the different government agents come out and brought these services to MSMEs that would not necessarily have a lot of time to follow them. We have a very open door policy across the country. So, if our next stop is at PG you are encouraged to come up for the popup shop. It does not necessarily mean you have to come out for the next two days, but we are encouraging small businesses to participate the three days, because it does have the aspect of training, money management are also important for that. But, today we do have services along with business. So, you see Kads jewelry, Nari Belize, we have Batted it is the cup cakes and cakes. We also have services like Neo People that is here today.”
