“I think this app really speaks to the latest evolvement of the education curriculum in Belize. So we’ve been at the lead of that in terms of our ability as a private school to move curriculum, but this is a fantastic complement to show just how much of education now happens beyond four walls of a classroom. One of the things that happened during COVID is that we had to step to the side as facilitators, not so much at the head of the classroom as teachers. So as facilitators, this actually put the learning directly in the students’ hands literally through their phones.  It also forces the students to take the responsibility of their learning, whereas before it would be what the teacher knows you’ll know, but now it’s like what I observe, what I’m able to pull so literally it’s maybe opening the book to making everything an open book test because it’s no more about the content. That’s there, that’s Googleable, right, but it’s about where I apply it and that’s been the exciting knowledge of NASA and other groups that force everyone to be involved.”

“Growing up, I always wanted to go to space and I am currently pursuing a Science course in an attempt to become an astronautical engineer, so being here signing this agreement is just so exciting; such a great feeling.”

“I think the app will allow Belize to get better scientification and better – apply it to the country to better our ecosystem and economy and I think it will be beneficial.”
