Ministry of Tourism Discusses Passport Heavy and Belize

Last week, travel media brand Passport Heavy premiered its Belize episode of the popular television program after filming at various locations across the country over a period of thirty days.  During that time, host Jubril Agoro visited tourism destinations, including San Pedro, San Ignacio and Placencia.  The involvement of the Belize Tourism Board in facilitating the television crew is a good look for the country which is being showcased in grand fashion.  Minister of Tourism Anthony Mahler spoke about the production.

“Influencers are an important part of the business right now, as you know, and Passport Heavy has a flare for it.  Actually, he sent me a message this morning, talking about how excited he was to come to Belize and the feedback that he has gotten after he has posted his video.  I think it does great justice for the diversity of Belize and we will continue to build on those initiatives using digital and using traditional media.”
