New S.S.B. Headquarters is in Need of Retrofitting

The new Social Security Board headquarters in Belmopan, it’s a building that was recently completed but there are already issues with its design and it will cost S.S.B. a pretty penny to have it repaired.  According to Prime Minister John Briceño, he has been made aware of the issue regarding the edifice on Bliss Parade.

“We have been briefed about it and it was a bad design.  It was a badly, the architect supposedly seemed to make a number of or overlooked a number of things that should have been in the design.  We could have made it political but we did not.  We decided that now we have a problem, we have the people’s money and we just can’t walk away from it and Social Security is going to spend the extra monies to be able to repair it because we have to fix it.”
