Doctor Zabaneh also spoke about the COVID-19 protocol that is being prepared for face-to-face learning. While there will be some changes to those protocols, discussions are being had about whether or not students should be required to wear face masks.

“From what I have been briefed on, most of it will remain, hand washing. I think there is a conversation with the Ministry of Health on whether they will need to have masks on, we wouldn’t be necessarily be  needing to have the big distances with chairs in the classroom. So, there will be some changes, but there will still be a significant amount of those protocols in place.”
