A Minor is Raped in Lake-I

A minor was sexually assaulted in the Lake Independence area of Belize City last Wednesday.  The twelve-year-old was walking along Heart Street when she was accosted by someone she recognizes by his face only.  She was then taken into a derelict building where she was taken advantage of.

“On Wednesday August third, around three p.m., a twelve-year-old minor was walking on Heart Street when she was allegedly forced into an abandoned house and a male person had sexual intercourse with her against her will.  The police are still seeking this person in question.”

“Does the twelve-year-old know the person?”
