“This amnesty program is very important, in that is seeks to make people who have been here for a long time or have established some, or formed roots in some way, and have become a part of the Belizeans society, but are irregular, they now have an opportunity to regularize themselves and become legal, permanent residence of our beautiful country. The investment is costing about three million dollars, a little above. The message to the people that qualify according to any one of the eight criteria, to take advantage of this opportunity, because it is a once in a life time opportunity to get themselves regularized and avoid problems in the future, and become an official part of both our society and also our community .”
