Throwing Bottles Ends with Deon Jones Being Beaten and Stabbed
Also over the weekend, there was a stabbing incident on Saturday night that ended with a twenty-three-year-old being hospitalized in a stable condition. Deon Jones visited a residence in Rowland’s Alley where he began tossing bottles at the home and was subsequently attacked by a knife-wielding individual. He was badly beaten and stabbed multiple times before being transported to the K.H.M.H. by police who responded to the scene.

“He went to that area and was hurling bottles at a residents at #3 Rowland’s Alley where the residents of that house came out and fight ensued between him and a few of the residents where he received stab wounds and was transported to the KHMH. We haven’t made any arrests in that incident as yet because, of course, you know, it was him against the world, in a sense because if I reside at #3 Rowland’s Alley and one of us that resides there is accused of a crime based on someone that launched an attack on us, the cooperation is almost minimal coming from that residence right now. So our investigators have a difficult task in establishing who actually inflicted the stab wound to him.”
