Relatives Turn On Each Other in Aguacate Village, Toledo

An altercation among relatives in Aguacate Village, Toledo has ended in two of them being chopped and two others in police custody, including the First Alcalde of the village. It happened on Friday evening and when it was over, two members of the Cal family had to be hospitalized. The police department’s Communications Director, Fitzroy Yearwood shared what they have so far on the incident.

“Police visited a scene on the first of July. Sometime after five-forty p.m., where they saw Santiago Cal, sixty-seven years (old), and Ernesto Cal, thirty-three years (old), suffering from chop wounds to the body. Initial investigations revealed that they were at Aguacate Village, where they got into an argument with Domingo Cal, fifty-two years (old), who is the first Alcalde of that village, and Estevan Cal, twenty-eight years (old), a BDF soldier of Silver Creek Village. The injured Cals reported that these two men, Ernesto and Domingo took out weapons and inflicted these chop wounds to them. These two men are at the Punta Gorda Hospital in stable condition, but they are still hospitalized. Police have since detained Domingo and Estevan.”
