Scratch and Win Winner $25,000 Richer

The latest Scratch and Win winner is twenty-five thousand dollars richer. Anthony from Belmopan purchased his ticket on Wednesday night and decided not to scratch it until he reached his work desk on Thursday morning. It was there that he discovered that he won twenty-five thousand dollars on a two-dollar ticket. He spoke to News Five about the win.

“I purchased the ticket last night in Belmopan and I didn’t scratch he ticket. I kept it until this morning when I was at work. I decide let me scratch these tickets. It was a couple of tickets. So, I scratched it there at work and realized I won the prize.”

“This is a fresh win. This just happened last night. So I could imagine the excitement and the emotions. Tell us what was going through your mind the moment you began to match up the numbers.”

“I was so surprised and I know that I am also fortunate to have won. Like you said, it is just earlier today I realize I won. But, I am very fortunate and thankful as well.”
