Still No Arrest in Vanessa Reyes’ Stabbing

An all-points bulletin remains in effect for the capture of Christon Rocha who is wanted by police for stabbing his former common-law wife Vanessa Reyes in Placencia during the Easter weekend. Despite issuing wanted posters at various border points across the country, Rocha, a Honduran national, is yet to be apprehended.

“We have a countrywide hunt for him. We keep sending the posters to our counterparts at the borderline. We have conducted several searches based on tips that he was believed to be on a certain island and I am telling you that the search continues for him because this is not a case that we can take lightly. If those persons that morning didn’t intervene and stop him from carrying out what I fear would  have been a fatal incident, then we would have been investigating a murder at this time. We continue to appeal to the general public to assist us in locating this person. I know that we have circulated his photos in every means that we can and we will do it again today and I will continue to do it on an almost daily basis until we locate this man and bring him to justice.”
