ASP Fitzroy Yearwood

A woman has died in a traffic accident out west over the weekend. It happened in Selena Village off the Spanish Lookout Road around ten thirty p.m. on Saturday. The Police Department’s Communications Director, Assistant Superintendent Fitzroy Yearwood, shared the details of what police found at the scene.

“They saw a white Isuzu pick-up overturned in a stream not too far from a wooden bridge. A female was seen trapped in the vehicle and Police Officer, Nasario Tzib, forty-six years [old] was seen in a semi-conscious state on the side of the road. Police investigation have revealed so far that Loreli Tzib, forty-five years [old] was traveling along with her husband Nasario Tzib when he was approaching the bridge and lost control of the pick-up that overturned. I know that Nasario Tzib was transported to the San Ignacio Hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, Loreli Tzib was pronounced dead on arrival. I know that investigators so far informed Mr. Tzib. We will approach this cautiously because of the nature of the relationship…if any charges should be levied… my colleague and his family. He travels this way back and forth almost daily so it’s something
that he does regularly, noh, but unfortunately this time he lost control of the pick-up. We don’t know if maybe he had some mechanical failure. That will be determined when they do a complete mechanical examination on that vehicle. Then we will know what were the contributing factors.”

“Have any samples been taken?”

ASP Fitzroy Yearwood
“Yes, police have obtained samples. We’re not giving him any preferential treatment but at the same time we must realize the psychological effects of what took place out there.”
