Courts Customer Wins 2022 QUTE Car

There were big winners this week with Courts and Tropigas. The tickets of customers who participated in raffles between October and December of 2021 were shuffled. Earlier this week, Jose Avalos from Belize City drove off with a 2022 QUTE car – a line within Courts automotive department. A woman from Belmopan also won a motorcycle. Today, News Five spoke to PR and Digital Marketing Officer Tristian Coleman of UNICOMER about the giveaways.

“It was the most anticipated giveaway right here at Courts. I mean we have done giveaways before, but this time from 2022, we had the introduction to the automotive department and these QUTE cars are relatively new to the Courts brand. We picked our winner and we wanted to make it special. We wanted to give them a surprise rather than just calling them as say you won a car. So we called the customer, once we selected them with a JP present, and we told them that they won a gift certificate. So they thought they were coming in for a hundred dollars gift certificate. And when they came in we told them to stand in front of the car for promotional purposes. And when they’re there, they opened the envelope thinking they’ll take out a certificate, but actually it was the keys to their car. It was such a great experience and you see their face. And they were like why is this key here – well you just won the car, you just won a motorcycle. So it was a really good experience and it was a way for us to build excitement with our customers who have been shopping with us for a long time.”
