Prison Locks Down for Two Weeks
This evening the Kolbe Foundation announced that due to the spike in COVID cases among inmates and staff, the prison is going on full lockdown for the next fourteen days. Families of inmates are advised there will be no visitation or cash deposits accepted, and no other business transactions can be carried out. Attorneys will not be allowed on to the compound and will need to make an arrangement for virtual consultations. Kolbe says this drastic action is being taken to prevent more cases from being imported into the facility and to aid in the healing of the infected.
