Another Fatal Road Accident, This Time in Cotton Tree

There were two more traffic fatalities over the weekend, one on Sunday in Cotton Tree Village, Cayo, and another in San Juan Village, Stann Creek. The one in Cotton Tree claimed the life of a man from Santa Elena Town, Cayo. A.S.P Fitzroy Yearwood gave us first what the Police have on the Cotton Tree incident.

“A man driving his motorbike from the direction of Saint Matthew’s Village towards Belmopan and upon reaching Cotton Tree Village, he lost control of his cycle. He was flung from that cycle, received serious head and body injuries and died on the spot. His name is Josue Ramos, thirty-eight years (old).”

A female passenger who was traveling along with Ramos received scrapes and bruises and is in the Western Regional Hospital in a stable condition.
