Dr. Sosa Disappointed: No Queen’s Honour for Frontline Healthcare Worker
During his appearance on the morning show, Doctor Andre Sosa also said that he was disappointed in the fact that no frontline healthcare worker, who has been in the trenches battling the COVID-19 public health crisis, was bestowed with the Queen’s New Year’s honours. Just last week, several persons including Philanthropist Dara Robinson, B.N.T.U. National President Senator Elena Smith and Doctor Marcelo Coyi were honoured. Here’s how Doctor Sosa puts it.
Dr. Andre Sosa, Chairman, K.H.M.H.A.
“Despite the heavy told that working the COVID unit has brought, our people never say no. They don’t run away when they hear COVID, which is why I am so disappointed that not one frontline worker was honoured for the New Year’s Queen’s honours. So how is it possible that facing the worst crisis this country has seen since perhaps Hurricane Hattie or maybe even the 1918 pandemic, not one frontline worker has been honoured? How is that possible? But anyway; that’s my way of looking at it.”
