Public Officers Concerned about Integrity of NEAC

Kenrick Williams

C.E.O. Doctor Kenrick Williams says that a meeting has since been held with members of the NEAC. He explains how that conversation went.

Dr. Kenrick Williams, C.E.O., Ministry of Sustainable Development

“We discussed it as a matter of importance as a committee because it hangs over this public process. We have high professionals within the public service who’s been there for years, so they are concerned as well that this hangs over them. It has to do with the integrity of the process and the integrity of these officers. So they are concerned about it and they’ve asked us to really treat it seriously and look into it and that’s what we are doing.”

On a related note, C.E.O. Williams says that Waterloo principals have the right to request access to approvals issued to other port projects because the process is transparent.
