Civil Aviation Delegation to Colombia
The Minister of Blue Economy and Civil Aviation, Andre Perez is heading a Belizean delegation to an air services negotiation event in Bogotá, Colombia. It has been underway since December sixth and ends the tenth. The event is being hosted by International Civil Aviation Organization and brings together delegations from around the globe to negotiate bilateral and multilateral air services agreements. According to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, air carriers interested in Belize as a destination can learn about the country’s rules and regulations. The Belize delegation will be negotiating and signing memoranda of understanding with 13 countries, namely, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Germany, Kenya, Latvia, Oman, Qatar, Rwanda, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Minister Andre Perez is accompanied by Kennedy Carrillo, CEO in the ministry, and Nigel Carter, Director of Civil Aviation.
