Police Investigating Murder on Vernon and Mopan Streets In Belize City
A man was killed on Sunday night at the corner of Vernon and Mopan Streets in Belize City. The victim was apparently stabbed to death as he was socializing with others at a house. Assistant Superintendent of Police, Fitzroy Yearwood shared with the media today the particulars of the victim and the information that Police has so far.

“Police visited a scene at the corner of Vernon and Mopan Streets sometime around nine-thirty p.m., where they saw the lifeless body of Adrian Hyde on the veranda of a two-story building. It is believe that – Police observed what appeared to be a stab wound to the body. He was transported to KHMH, where he was pronounced dead. Circumstances surround his death are unclear at this time, but from what investigators gathered so far is that sometime after nine he was seen arguing with another person on his veranda and that person inflicted the stab wound to him, noh.”
Police are trying to locate the others who were at the address at the time to gather information about the incident.
