Condolences to Channel Five CEO on the Passing of Her Mother Alvina Cuellar

On a somber note, the staff of news five would like to extend our condolences to our CEO, Marleni Cuellar, following the passing on Friday night of her mother, Mrs. Alvina Cuellar.  She will be remembered by many of our viewers as a stern but fair teacher. During her 40 year career, she also served as the Assistant Head Mistress at SJC in the 90’s and was an active unionist. The late Mrs. Cuellar leaves to mourn her passing six daughters: Tina, Celina, Melissa, Fidelia, Reyna, and Marleni, and many relatives, friends and former students.
