Mexican Embassy Displays Altar and Seeks Facebook Likes for Competition

The Mexican Embassy in Belize is asking social media users to help them win this year’s “Reto de Altares” competition for Dia de los Muertos. Every year the institute of Mexican Abroad organizes a contest between all Mexican Embassies and Consulates around the world. The winner is chosen by likes and interactions in the altar’s photo on the official Institute’s Facebook profile. This year Mexican Embassy in Belize altar is on display at the Mexican Cultural Institute in Belize City and at the Embassy of Mexico in Belmopan.
