National Assembly Closed For Sanitizing: House Meeting Pushed Back to Tuesday
Like a number of other public buildings recently, the National Assembly in Belmopan closed today at midday for sanitization of all the offices. This was due to a staff member testing positive for COVID-19. A notice from the Clerk’s Office says services to the public will resume on Tuesday the twenty-sixth of October. The Special Sitting of the House of Representatives which had been scheduled for Monday has been postponed to Tuesday as well.
