Acting CEO Seguro also spoke about the cost attached to the modification at the KHMH. Needless to say, maintaining a consistent supply of oxygen to a facility like KHMH is expensive.

“The temporary distribution system, well let me not say temporary. The interim system is going to cost us for installation, upwards of thirty thousand dollars. We have a good relationship with Fabrigas. So, as the demand arises they meet that demand, and later we discuss the finances. However, yes, we have arrangements to know what the ball park figure will be. Then, we work out the details to minimize cost. So, oxygen on a whole, I would want to say that for the design system we have, the primary system, which was designed to deliver to the two hundred plus patient care areas of the hospital and us now adding on the COVID Unit, the liquid storage we had used to cost us like ninety to a hundred thousand dollars a month for oxygen. But, with COVID, the increase in tank oxygen, liquid oxygen and now we are getting liquid tank oxygen; it is going to cost us at least double the consumption that we had.”
