1 Charged, Police Seeking Others in Murder of Geoffrey Crawford

Last Thursday we reported to you how the body of Geoffrey Crawford was discovered in a shallow grave in a remote area of Biscayne Village. A short distance away was his red SUV that also went missing from his house, located at the entrance to Crooked Tree Village. On Friday, police arrested and charged a Belize City resident for his murder. But according to ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, investigators are looking for others who were involved.

“On Friday, the first of October, police formally arrested and charged Maurice Usher, forty-one years Belizean construction worker or a Belize City address for the crime of murder. We are looking for other people of interest in connection with this incident and hopefully as soon as they are detained we will be able to process what charges they will receive. We believe that Mister Usher did not act alone in the committal of this crime or orchestration of this crime.”
