Man Charged for Fatal Accident in the South
Last Friday, there was a fatal traffic accident between miles forty-three and forty-four on the Southern Highway. Rafael Ortiz was travelling on a motorcycle which was involved in a collision with a pickup truck driven at the time by Ramon Caserez. Reports are that Caserez was overtaking a tractor on the highway and came in the path of Ortiz who collided head on with the pickup truck. Caserez has since been charged.

“Reference a road traffic accident that occurred in Bella Vista Village where Rafael Ortiz lost his life, on Friday, the first of October, police formally arrested and charged Ramon Caserez, fifty years old self employed of Bella Vista Village for the crime of manslaughter by negligence, causing death by careless conduct, driving without due care and attention and improperly overtaking another motor vehicle. So he has been charged – the driver.”
