ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, Communications Director, Belize Police Department
“Police responded to a fire on Saturday at mile thirteen on the George Price Highway. I think it is Tu’Kan Foam Factory owned by one Dhiraj Nandwani where they reported that two employees were there at work when one of the machines apparently got overheated and engulfed in flames, destroying the buildings. I know that the fire department is condition an investigation to determine whether or not this was an accidental cause or whether it was deliberately set on fire. But we are pending their report so that we the police can rule what will take place following that.”
