2 Persons Shot in Forest Home, but Not Cooperating with Police

Alejandro Cowo

Later on Sunday night, police responded to shots fired in Forest Home Village in Toledo. Fredrick Bahadur as well as Selvin and Winston Ramclam were sitting outside a wooden house when two persons travelling on a motorcycle rode up and fired a barrage of bullets in their direction. Bahadur and Selvin were hit; they were taken to the Punta Gorda Polyclinic, treated and released. Superintendent Alejandro Cowo says that the victims are not cooperating with police.

“One of the persons on the motorcycle fired several shots at them, injuring both Bahadur and Ramclam on their bodies. Two of them were treated and discharged from last night. So far, police is investigating the matter and they are trying to interview the two victims, however, they are not fully cooperating with the investigation.”

“Any possible motive sir?”

Supt. Alejandro Cowo

“There is an ongoing dispute in that area and we believe that might have led to this shooting.”
