95% of Ready Call Employees Vaccinated

One of the groups that are now deemed “essential workers” are the employees of business process outsourcing companies or B.P.O.s.  As of August first, they too must produce a negative COVID test result every two weeks if they choose to remain unvaccinated.  Over at Ready Call Center, C.E.O. Nubia Ramirez says only about five percent of their one thousand, seven hundred employees are not vaccinated, mostly because they are under the age of eighteen or are pregnant. And of that number, only two percent have chosen not to be vaccinated. Ramirez says the company might have to pay for those tests.

“Even previously when people were not required (to take) a test, the company paid for those tests – the rapid test.”

“Who will pay for them now?”

“I guess at this point we will have to do something like that as well.”
