When he appeared on Open Your Eyes this morning, U.D.P. Party Leader Patrick Faber also spoke about his ambitions to be restored as Leader of the Opposition.

“Have you made any strides in being able to regain the position as Leader of the Opposition?”

“That is ongoing and today I have some meetings in that direction.”

“There are only three people to convince right?”

Patrick Faber

“Well, it would be a little bit more difficult than that, but I am meeting with my colleagues because we also have to look at it from a party’s position as well. So, I am consulting with my other leadership colleagues, two of whom are in the Parliament; the Honorable Hugo Patt and the Honorable Tracy Panton. And we will discuss as well with the party chairman and the vice-chairman. So we have a leadership corps, which by the way is the body that has been making decisions for the party because that is how I operate; never a dictatorship going on; contrary to what was in the party before my leadership.”
