Georgeville Resident’s Body Found

A decomposing body was discovered in Georgeville in the Cayo District this morning. It has been identified as that of Michael Spain, a resident of the village. While police were out processing the scene, ASP Fitzroy Yearwood shared what preliminary details he has so far.

“The identity of that person has been confirmed. The body was found in early stage of decomposition and police officers are still at the scene in Georgeville Village. Hopefully by the end of today, we can tell you whether or not it was natural death or whether police suspect any foul play. So like I said, it is an early investigation so just bear with us and we will try to get that information to you early.”
