San Pedro Resident in Critical Condition Following Shooting

A San Pedro man, Luis Tun, is tonight fighting for his life at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital after he was shot multiple times on Saturday night. The incident took place at the Clumsy Restaurant and Bar in the San Mateo area of the island town.  Tun was reportedly behind the bar counter when a man dressed in full black entered the bar and fired shots at him. The gunman then ran out of the bar and jumped onto a getaway motorcycle being driven by another person. Tun remains in a critical, but stable condition.

“Claim that he was at a business establishment socialising when a dark-complexioned male person just walked in and fired several shots towards his direction. He was transported to the San Pedro Polyclinic and then later to Karl Heusner Memorial where he is listed as stable but critical.”

“Like I said, he is saying that he was there as a patron. Somebody unknown to him entered and opened fire on him. He didn’t give police anymore details; trying to save his life was more important. So we have to wait until we get any more details from him before we can say what was the reason for the shooting.”
