Witness to Prior Gun Incident Involving Jasmin Hartin Comes Forward
In the latest development in the saga of Jasmine Hartin, charged last month with manslaughter by negligence for the shooting death of Superintendent Henry Jemmott, Hartin and her family have set up a Go Fund Me account, attempting to raise money from the public for her new defense. The story of the fatal shooting of the top cop and Hartin’s subsequent arrest has captured international headlines for weeks now, and Hartin has insisted it was all an accident. Last week, after being released on bail for the second time after spending a total of two weeks on remand, a video emerged showing Jasmine hitting targets with a shotgun. This and several other pictures of her at shooting ranges have created a social media buzz that Hartin might have experience in handling guns. Well, News Five has learned that a witness to a previous gun incident involving Hartin has come forward. Reports are that sometime during the COVID lockdown in May last year, Hartin accidentally discharged the firearm of a security guard while attempting to clean the gun. The incident reportedly occurred near a poolside and was witnessed by several people. The bullet hit the balcony and left a visible mark, and luckily no one was hurt.
