Suspects Detained in Belize City Hotel and Health Care Center Robberies

Police say that they have made some progress into the investigations of the robberies at Belize Healthcare Partners and Biltmore that happened earlier this week. Director of Communications Fitzroy Yearwood says that they are trying to connect the dots in these heists. Here’s what the police know so far.

“So far we have persons detained. We have two vehicles impounded that we believe may have been used in the orchestration of those crimes. As soon as investigators believe they have enough evidence to charge then I will be able to give you a proper detailed interview about that.”
