Body Found on Banks of River in San Ignacio

Up to news time tonight, details remain sparse after a body was found this morning on the riverbank in San Ignacio. The deceased was clad only in a shirt. Reports are that his face had been bashed in, but that has not been confirmed by police. What is known is that there were multiple injuries to the face and body and the authorities also retrieved a piece of log from the scene.
