Father Identifies Remains of His Son, Missing Fireman Peter Jones

There is a sad end to a missing person’s story from last week.  This evening, police have confirmed that the burnt remains found on a farm in Esperanza Village last week have been identified as those of missing fireman Peter Luis Jones.  According to police, the body was identified his father, Peter Jones Senior.  A family member told News Five that Jones was last seen by his common-law-wife on Monday evening as he left their home in Esperanza Village, and the family suspected that the burnt remains were his.  A cause of death is not known; a postmortem examination on the body of Jones Junior certified the cause of death as “undetermined.”
