Skeletal Remains Discovered near Eldridgville

The skeletal remains of an unidentified male person were retrieved from a bushy area in Elridgeville, Toledo District shortly before noon today.  Sometime around twelve o’clock, Punta Gorda police were called out to the village where C.I.B. personnel observed a decomposed corpse clad in a pair of shorts and an orange striped shirt.  The discovery was made approximately five hundred feet away from the Southern Highway near the boundary between Forest Home and Elridgeville.  The scene was processed and investigators were able to collect soil samples for forensic analysis.  Police are scouring their database for recent missing person’s report that would match the description of the unnamed individual. If you have any information that could assist in the identification, contact the nearest police station.
