On Friday police acting on a tip about drugs at a home of an expat on Placencia found small quantities of cocaine and weed. A.C.P. Joseph Myvett told the press about their findings:

“Placencia police visited the home of Michael Guiles, fifty-nine-year-old Canadian national, to conduct searches where upon arrival police did conduct searches on his home where several different amounts of crack cocaine were found inside his home being one hundred and twenty-eight grams and two hundred and eight grams of crack cocaine as well as one hundred and twenty-nine grams of cannabis were found. He has since been arrested and charged for the drugs found at his residence.”
