Amilin Mendez, C.E.O. of Economic Development
Amilin Mendez is the latest Chief Executive Officer to be named by the Briceño Administration. Mendez has been appointed C.E.O. in the Ministry of Economic Development. According to a press release issued this evening, Mendez holds a Master’s of Science in international Trade Policy with Specialization in Trade in Services and Market Access of Goods. She is also pursuing another Master’s Degree in Project Management at the University for International Cooperation. The release says, “Mendez has substantial experience in national and regional project development with a special interest in education and private sector driven investment.” Mendez will work under the portfolio of Economic Development, which falls under Prime Minister John Briceño’s Ministry of Finance, Economic Development and Investment. The two Ministers of State are Michael Espat and Christopher Coye.
