Where’s Audit of Report on Former B.T.L. Chairman Alleged Abuse of Corporate Credit Card?

On a scandal that will not go away, P.U.P. Leader John Briceño has written to PM Barrow on the matter of former Chairman Net Vasquez and his alleged abuse of the corporate credit card at B.T.L.  Briceño recalls that when the matter came to light, an audit was announced to determine the extent of the pillage.  Briceño states that it is known that Vasquez racked up hundreds of thousands of dollars in charges for personal expenses and that a bloated contract was contrived and awarded to Vasquez’s company, Tropical Vision Channel Seven, to settle a portion of the debt owed by Vasquez to Telemedia.  Six weeks have gone by and no disclosure of the audit results has been released.  The P.U.P. leader demands that within three days of the receipt of his letter, the PM should make public the final audit report if not completed. The PM is required to disclose the amount charged on the B.T.L. card by Vasquez, a copy of the contract to Channel Seven and whether the contact has board approval.  The P.U.P. also wants disclosure on whether the Board sued Vasquez or if the matter was reported to the police. Briceño further asks for confirmation on a report that B.T.L. is seeking a massive emergency increase in its bank overdraft and the amount sought.  In closing, Briceño questions whether G.O.B. deceived dividends from Telemedia in past two years, how much and when.  Briceño concludes that the people have a right to know before the elections.
