B.D.F. Soldier and Another Man Charged for Unlicensed Firearm

Joseph Myvett

Two men, including a B.D.F. soldier, have been arrested and charged for kept firearm without a gun license.  Around two-thirty on Saturday afternoon, cops were doing random stop and search in Trinidad Village when they found an unlicensed nine millimeter pistol inside a vehicle. The duo was arrested.

ACP Joseph Myvett, Head, National Crimes Investigation Branch

“Members of the border jumper operation were on patrol in Trinidad Village where they intercepted a Chevy Equinox driven by twenty-five-year-old B.D.F. soldier Rodney DelCid, who was accompanied at the time by Elvis Aldana. A search was conducted on the vehicle which led to the discovery of a glock nine millimeter pistol loaded with seven rounds of ammunition. Both persons couldn’t produce a license and as a result they have both since been arrested and charged.”
