9 Days Later and Still No Autopsy on the Body of George Murphy

George Murphy

The family of George Murphy is up in arms tonight because nine days after he was killed, they still have not been able to lay the remains of their loved one to rest. On September twenty-ninth, the twenty-one-year-old fisherman was executed near the main pier in Placencia. Preparations were made to bury Murphy, but the family has been unable to because of continuous delays in carrying out the autopsy. Murphy’s body is at the Southern Regional Hospital since the incident and the family cannot find closure. Earlier today, News Five spoke with Murphy’s brother, Orie Burgess.
