B.P.P. Raffling a Car to Generate “Clean Money” for their 2020 General Elections Campaign

During today’s press conference to present their candidates, the B.P.P. also gave an update on their campaign finances. As you will recall, a few weeks ago we told you that the party is seeking to fundraise one hundred thousand dollars to fund their campaign. Today Party Leader Patrick Rogers says they still want to get that hundred grand but they are a long way off from it. He says they remain hopeful that donations and other fundraising activities will help them to get closer to their goal – a goal they want to be “clean money”. For now the B.P.P. is holding a raffle to raise funds for their eight candidates – they are doing this by raffling a 2013 Kia Soul donated by their funder Yhony Rosado. Here’s from Rogers on this initiative.

Patrick Rogers, Leader, B.P.P.

“We need to get deh yah ticket sell and sell quickly as the raffle is going to be held on October twenty-fourth. Poor man you have a chance to win a nice car – 2013 for five dollars – no where you hear a vehicle the sell for five dollars.  Unu could tek wah lee picture to highlight the fact that we are trying to raise clean money to have a machinery on election day because that is all we want at this point – to have wah two hundred dollars or less inna green shirt to show a little army because lee army can beat big army but we need an army to beat deh big armies.”
