House & Vehicles Set Ablaze in Belize City
There was a fire on Independence Day in Belize City. Police say that around three-thirty on the morning of September twenty-first they were notified of a fire on Linda Vista Avenue in Belize City. The fire destroyed a wooden home and some vehicles in the yard. According to the police, no one was in the house when the fire started.

“Police responded to a fire in the Linda Vista area and upon their arrival they saw a wooden structure in flames which was completely damaged thereafter. Three vehicles and a motorcycle that were in the immediate area were also damaged. Investigation into this matter continues. We have the personnel from the fire service who are assisting in the investigation.”

“Is there any chance that it may have been a case of arson?”

“We do not know at this time. We will await the report from the fire department to determine the cause of the fire.”
