“Assistant Superintendent of Police Mr. Jesus Cobb had just come off duty on Thursday, midnight, and was travelling to his home village in the Belmopan area and while reaching between miles fourteen and fifteen on the George Price Highway he managed to lose control of the vehicle and he overturned. As a result, he received injuries to his body and was taken to the hospital where he was treated and discharged. There was a cycle coming on the other side of the road travelling in the opposite direction and in order for him to avoid hitting that person he took a sudden swerve to the right side of the road causing him to lose control of the vehicle.”
