Guat Bandits Leave without Stolen Vehicle!

Alejandro Cowo

Police say robbers from Guatemala tried to take a stolen vehicle across the border but couldn’t because it was bogged in mud. A man from Succotz reported to police that four armed men robbed him of his truck on the Black Rock Road. A search of the area led to the discovery of the truck on Calla Creek Road. Police say they are looking for a suspect in the area.

“On yesterday’s date, Mister Alejandro Uck, fifty-six-year-old of Succotz Village was driving on the Black Rock Road which is somewhere in the San Ignacio –Benque Viejo area. He was driving a white wingle and while driving on that road he was accosted by four male persons of Hispanic descent; one armed with a short arm and one armed with a shot gun. He was forced out of the vehicle, where he was tied and thrown into the bushes. The persons fled with the vehicle. Mr. Uck managed to untie himself and as a result visited the police and made a report. Shortly after in the evening, police visited an area in Calla Creek where they found the said wingle that was stolen from him along with a chainsaw and a black in color motorcycle. No one was in the area.”
