Police have cracked the murder of Dangriga resident, Andrew Flores who was killed on the night of September tenth.  Flores’ brother-in-law, Whitfield Fisher Junior was captured over the weekend and this afternoon, he was arraigned in the Magistrate Court for the charge of murder.  Fisher Junior lived in the same apartment on Kelly Street as did Flores.  The two men were embroiled in an argument over a friend that Fisher Junior had invited and Flores did not appreciate. Fisher Junior is said to have pulled out a knife and stabbed Flores on the throat; the stabbing was witnessed by Flores’s common-law-wife.  Here is News Five’s Duane Moody with a report.

The fatal incident occurred on the night of September tenth at an apartment complex on Kelly Street where both Fisher Junior and Flores lived. Flores’ wife is the sister of Fisher Junior who told News Five that her common-law husband wanted a man with whom he had conflict to leave the property. That person was invited to the residence by Fisher Junior. When the individual was confronted about an alleged plot to kill Flores, a knife was pulled out and Fisher Junior inflicted the fatal wound.
