Mexico independence Celebration to go virtual

And get ready to celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day. The Embassy of Mexico in Belize today issued a release to say that the celebration is on; but given the current situation relating to the COVID19 pandemic, its two hundred and tenth Anniversary of Independence will be celebrated in a virtual programme. The event starts at five o’clock on September fifteenth, with a short video of the historical personalities who lead the movement for the independence of Mexico. The video will be followed by the famous “Grito” and will end with a concert of traditional music captured in Mexico Immortal by Rosy Arango, the Mariachi Vargas de Tecatitlán and the Orquesta Filarmónica de Acapulco. The Embassy of Mexico is inviting its community and friends to log on to to be part of the celebration.
