Sedi is Still in the U.D.P.’s Leadership Race

Pickstock Area Representative, Wilfred ‘Sedi’ Elrington is the third candidate running in the upcoming U.D.P. leadership convention this Sunday. The two others are Patrick Faber and John Saldivar. The second race for a new leader of the United Democratic Party is winding down and today we caught up with Elrington at the Samuel Haynes Institute of Learning.  According to the Foreign Minister, he has offered himself to lead the party because of the existing COVID-19 pandemic, but has lost enthusiasm to fully participate in all the vote seeking activities leading up to the convention on July twelfth.  He discussed his campaign ahead of the Sunday’s event at the ITVET in Belize City.
