Michael Peyrefitte

When it comes to other public events and different forms of social gatherings, the Attorney General says that those are still not allowed.  Michael Peyrefitte spoke on the topic of parties, religious gatherings, and other social activities.

Michael Peyrefitte, Attorney General

“Let me remind the public, for example, a private party that includes people from outside of your house that still can’t happen. Recreational or competitive sporting events; weddings with more than ten people still can’t happen. Banquets, balls, reception, still can’t happen. Social events, concerts, and stuff like that still can’t happen; any other ceremony for public worship in any facility, so the law still doesn’t allow for church service to be held as yet. Funeral – ten people or less only. If it is more than ten people it can’t happen. Social clubs and fraternal orders and club still can’t happen. So, these things in law remain there and they still can’t happen. So, these things in the law remain there. Businesses are opened up for people to purchase stuff they need and for people to go to work. But other than that, things that are not necessary are not allowed in general.”
